Welcome to the Fells Marathon Website
The 2011 Fells Marathon event was challenging to say the least! Those who completed showed admirable grit and determination and should all give themselves a huge pat on the back. We will be making improvements for next year and sincerely hope that no-one has been put off having a go in 2012!
A number of items of lost property were left behind including hi-viz waistcoats and even a tent! We have done our best to dry these out so please get in touch if you think any may be yours as we would like to re-unite them with their owners.
Please accept our apologies for taking such a long time to get the results onto the website - with so many retirements and some rapidly disintegrating check point paperwork it has also been a challenge to work out the full results sheet. We have ordered a further supply of certificates and will issue them as soon as we can, so again apologies for the delay on this. Please visit the results section for the full results sheets and trophy winners.
The Committee would again like to extend a huge Thank You to all those who support our events. Without the competitors, volunteers and extremely patient landowners whose gateways we are allowed to loiter in, these events simply could not take place.
If you have any photographs of the events that you would like to submit to the website then please email them to us and we'll put as many as we can into the Gallery.
If you have a part team who would like to enter one of our events then please visit our Matchmaker page where we will advertise part teams for you. Hopefully this will allow more people the opportunity to take part by combining with other troops if they cannot raise a full team themselves.
